Thanks to the Internet and social media global trends are instantly shared across the world. Skin care is no longer a luxury, it is a priority and can also lead to better health.

There are a number of overriding trends in wellness for 2016 including everything from the use of cannabis in beauty treatments to detox skin purging therapies.

According to one *report entitled, a “Green Beauty Barometer” 59 percent of U.S. adult women read beauty product ingredient labels prior to purchase, while nearly 40 percent intend to increase their spend for all-natural beauty products.  Last, 54 percent of the women said all natural skin care products were essential.

Following are some of the trends:

K-beauty: There is inspiration from ancient traditions like the Korean beauty market which recently launched “K-beauty.” Koreans are elaborately passionate about skin care.

All natural products: More than half of U.S. women prefer all natural skin care products. As the natural trend in skin care continues to rise, a recent survey has found more U.S. women consumers look at product labels to avoid certain ingredients prior to purchasing.

Forest bathing beauty traditions:  A Japanese concept, forest bathing encourages quiet walks through a forest to meditate the feel and sounds of nature. Medical evidence has proven long-lasting impact of forest bathing on the immune system.

Detoxification and Skin Purging Therapy: Herbalix has been educating audiences about the benefit of skin detoxification for more than 15 years. Products such as the Women’s 80 Night Lymph Detox Program includes a free 20-minute consultation with each kit ordered. The benefits include ridding the body of toxins, and especially aluminum. You’ll know it’s working when normal detox symptoms appear which are simply indicators that the toxins are transitioning out of your body.

Islamic mud or sand bathing : The Islamic world has been refining their nature-based healing therapies and beauty practices for centuries. Now they are being shared globally.

Medical cannabis: The legalization of recreational and medical marijuana in many U.S. states has deepened cannabis’ health value into wellness treatments such as incorporating it into massage therapy. Charcoal is another ingredient popular in some skin purification treatments.

Halotherapy: This dry salt therapy has been around for centuries, but the United States has only recently become familiar with its health benefits, including respiratory and skin benefits. It can be used in salt rooms and for dry salt therapy sessions or dry saunas.

TrendWatching says consumers prefer to build their own identities based on their own inclinations rather than fitting into a traditional mold, which ties in nicely to the fact that Herbalix Restoratives offers customized skin care treatments for various skin types. Learn how what you put on your skin really matters. Watch this Herbalix video about how aluminum and alum in deodorants can harm your health.

Organic Personal Care Market Expected at $15.98 Billion by 2020

November 10th, 2014

In a recent article entitled, Organic personal care market likely to post double-digit annual growth to 2020, by Simon Pitman, we learn that “most global regions are expected to post near double-digit annual growth in organic personal care over the next six years,” according to a new market research report. Grand View Research said the global market is slated to grow from approximately $8.20 billion in 2013 to approximately $15.98 billion by the year 2020, showing annual growth rates between nine and 10 percent across Asia, Europe and North America.Grand View Research believes that most of the growth is being driven primarily by increasing consumer awareness of organic products and product innovation.

Herbalix (www.Herbalix.com) is seeing growth in the organics marketeplace as well. In the past, personal care products for body cleansing primarily included  soap, body washes and  scrubs. Today, modern technologies are more scientific such as the company’s skin purging therapies which are of great interest to the medical community.

Of biggest concern are the commercial deodorants/antiperspirants that contain any type of aluminum, alum, petroleum or propylene glycol, which can lead to the buildup of chemicals under the arms. This can often not only result in irritation, but can also cause hygiene problems, or worse. Antiperspirants may leave a residual of alum salts in the underarm, and over a short period of time undetermined DNA damage might occur under the arms.

There is one unique product from Herbalix that can help eliminate any bad chemicals from our bodies — the Herbalix Nighttime Cleansing Detox Deodorant™.  It has been formulated to cleanse away buildup of unhealthy chemicals inside the body, and to release waste fluids. This in turn encourages healthy lymphatic flow, and absorbs all types of aluminums.  The bonus is that this process encourages a reduction in daytime odors.

An organic non-aluminum deodorant, the popular Herbalix Nighttime Detox Cleansing Deodorant™ offers an exceptional cleanse while it also deodorizes while you sleep. Daytime deodorants typically work during the day to regulate and absorb odors. Herbalix deodorants are all made with certified organic ingredients and no synthetic chemicals or aluminums.

Herbalix is seeing growth as well, with particular interest among medical practitioners who are purchasing and reselling the company’s skin purging detox products to patients in need.

Herbalix also just introduced a 20 Minute Session with Detox and Lymphatic Cleanfessler sm tn Organic Personal Care Market Expected at $15.98 Billion by 2020sing Coach
