Skin Care Trends for the New Year Include Detoxification for Wellness

January 16th, 2016

relaxed girl with moisturized skin MJwxkHPO 150x150 Skin Care Trends for the New Year Include Detoxification for WellnessHeading into the new year, we know that wellness is no longer just a buzz word. Thanks to the Internet and social media global trends are instantly shared across the world. Skin care is no longer a luxury, it is a priority and can also lead to better health.

There are a number of overriding trends in wellness for 2016 including everything from the use of cannabis in beauty treatments to detox skin purging therapies.

According to one *report entitled, a “Green Beauty Barometer” 59 percent of U.S. adult women read beauty product ingredient labels prior to purchase, while nearly 40 percent intend to increase their spend for all-natural beauty products.  Last, 54 percent of the women said all natural skin care products were essential.

Following are some of the trends:

K-beauty: There is inspiration from ancient traditions like the Korean beauty market which recently launched “K-beauty.” Koreans are elaborately passionate about skin care.

All natural products: More than half of U.S. women prefer all natural skin care products. As the natural trend in skin care continues to rise, a recent survey has found more U.S. women consumers look at product labels to avoid certain ingredients prior to purchasing.

Forest bathing beauty traditions:  A Japanese concept, forest bathing encourages quiet walks through a forest to meditate the feel and sounds of nature. Medical evidence has proven long-lasting impact of forest bathing on the immune system.

Detoxification and Skin Purging Therapy: Herbalix has been educating audiences about the benefit of skin detoxification for more than 15 years. Products such as the Women’s 80 Night Lymph Detox Program includes a free 20-minute consultation with each kit ordered. The benefits include ridding the body of toxins, and especially aluminum. You’ll know it’s working when normal detox symptoms appear which are simply indicators that the toxins are transitioning out of your body.

Islamic mud or sand bathing : The Islamic world has been refining their nature-based healing therapies and beauty practices for centuries. Now they are being shared globally.

Medical cannabis: The legalization of recreational and medical marijuana in many U.S. states has deepened cannabis’ health value into wellness treatments such as incorporating it into massage therapy. Charcoal is another ingredient popular in some skin purification treatments.

Halotherapy: This dry salt therapy has been around for centuries, but the United States has only recently become familiar with its health benefits, including respiratory and skin benefits. It can be used in salt rooms and for dry salt therapy sessions or dry saunas.

TrendWatching says consumers prefer to build their own identities based on their own inclinations rather than fitting into a traditional mold, which ties in nicely to the fact that Herbalix Restoratives offers customized skin care treatments for various skin types. Learn how what you put on your skin really matters. Watch this Herbalix video about how aluminum and alum in deodorants can harm your health.

Organic Personal Care Market Expected at $15.98 Billion by 2020

November 10th, 2014

In a recent article entitled, Organic personal care market likely to post double-digit annual growth to 2020, by Simon Pitman, we learn that “most global regions are expected to post near double-digit annual growth in organic personal care over the next six years,” according to a new market research report. Grand View Research said the global market is slated to grow from approximately $8.20 billion in 2013 to approximately $15.98 billion by the year 2020, showing annual growth rates between nine and 10 percent across Asia, Europe and North America.Grand View Research believes that most of the growth is being driven primarily by increasing consumer awareness of organic products and product innovation.

Herbalix (www.Herbalix.com) is seeing growth in the organics marketeplace as well. In the past, personal care products for body cleansing primarily included  soap, body washes and  scrubs. Today, modern technologies are more scientific such as the company’s skin purging therapies which are of great interest to the medical community.

Of biggest concern are the commercial deodorants/antiperspirants that contain any type of aluminum, alum, petroleum or propylene glycol, which can lead to the buildup of chemicals under the arms. This can often not only result in irritation, but can also cause hygiene problems, or worse. Antiperspirants may leave a residual of alum salts in the underarm, and over a short period of time undetermined DNA damage might occur under the arms.

There is one unique product from Herbalix that can help eliminate any bad chemicals from our bodies — the Herbalix Nighttime Cleansing Detox Deodorant™.  It has been formulated to cleanse away buildup of unhealthy chemicals inside the body, and to release waste fluids. This in turn encourages healthy lymphatic flow, and absorbs all types of aluminums.  The bonus is that this process encourages a reduction in daytime odors.

An organic non-aluminum deodorant, the popular Herbalix Nighttime Detox Cleansing Deodorant™ offers an exceptional cleanse while it also deodorizes while you sleep. Daytime deodorants typically work during the day to regulate and absorb odors. Herbalix deodorants are all made with certified organic ingredients and no synthetic chemicals or aluminums.

Herbalix is seeing growth as well, with particular interest among medical practitioners who are purchasing and reselling the company’s skin purging detox products to patients in need.

Herbalix also just introduced a 20 Minute Session with Detox and Lymphatic Cleanfessler sm tn Organic Personal Care Market Expected at $15.98 Billion by 2020sing Coach
Mike Fessler (Right), who will discuss directions, suggestions and protocol instructions for the application of Herbalix topical skin purging products. Review overall wellness and personal status to determine toxic overload. The session is $75.00.

Breast Awareness Month 2014: Pinpointing Critical Factors Leading to Poor Breast Health

October 7th, 2014

Breast Awareness Month 2014: Pinpointing Critical Factors Leading to Poor Breast Health

Breast Health Awareness

Please consider October as the month to include breast health awareness and not just breast cancer.  Breast awareness needs full participation by everyone, especially the male population whose increase in the knowledge of the health and well-being of breasts will provide a greater understanding to all.

Herbalix Restoratives captured a vast amount of in depth information as related to breast and underarm issues, gained from two clinical trials.  The first clinical trial focused on the Nighttime Cleansing Detox Deodorant – Trial #061218-150 – April 6, 2007, and the second one using the Sentinel Breast Crème in conjunction with Detox Deodorant  (WIRB #IRB00000533, 2013), both conducted in the United States.

Part One: First Clinical Trial

Comparing antiperspirants versus Herbalix aluminum-free Nighttime Cleansing Detox Deodorant™ on human subjects.

To capture and record the data, and in order to compare before and after, we applied tape strips in both the left and right underarm of each subject.  The tissue residual found in each tape stripping was measured by mass spectrometry.  With this measurement the lab could determine how much aluminum was present in the underarm.

The three week study began with a baseline measurement where each subject wore no deodorant or antiperspirant for one week. In the second week all subjects applied antiperspirant and in the final week all subjects applied the Herbalix Nighttime Cleansing Detox Deodorant. In this manner, a graph was established showing the weekly changes.

  1. The first week was created as a baseline and showed that all subjects had varying levels of accumulated alum salts and that there was no symmetry, on one side verses the other.
  2. The second week where the subjects applied antiperspirants, there was a spiking on one side versus the other. It further showed that in the non-dominant (or weaker) arm, there was a higher level of alum salts recorded when using the antiperspirant.
  3. The final week showed not only a drop in the amount of alum salt recorded but also showed symmetry in each subject and in one case the level of accumulated alum salt had dropped below baseline.

After reviewing and studying this data, we asked ourselves, “Why did alum salts store in the non dominant arm more than the dominant side?”  And since breast cancer statistics showed that the upper outer quadrant of the left breast is the predominant location when detecting first stage breast cancer, we wanted to understand why this would be so.  When we analyzed the data and researched further, and when speaking with actual customers (nurses, doctors, buyers, and consumers), we were able to determine that in most cases, when the subject was right handed, their breast issues appeared on the left side and vs versa.

Statistically more people are right handed than left handed, so that number should be higher automatically and would mean that something else is contributing to stagnation on the non-dominant side,  which is leading to congested lymph nodes and further deterioration of breast health.

We decided after this clinical to investigate breast issues for the upper outer quadrant contacting universities, clinics, scientists, medical groups, etc. for any information on this connection.  We found very little information on the correlation to non-dominant arm and aluminum salts.  Doctors do not normally ask whether the patient is right or left handed. However, doctors, radiologists and operating room nurses report that the left upper outer of the left breast is the most common site for early stage diagnosis.

In 2006 we came upon a group of special international scientists working on similar studies and connections on breast cancer.

In 2006 we came upon a group of special international scientists working on similar studies and connections on breast cancer.  They work together under the Keele University Aluminum Scientists Group. Dr.  Philippa Darbre from the UK has amassed a vast amount of information on antiperspirants and breast cells.  In two laboratory studies conducted by Dr. Darbre, she reported findings of alum in the fluids of breast cysts as well as in breast tumors.

Antiperspirants most always consist of alum salts.  The law of osmosis allow these salts to be absorbed and seep into the sweat ducts and in doing so shut them down.  Aluminum has no known human benefit.  It causes oxidative stress and a buildup overtime shows up in other areas.  (Further information will be provided in a follow up article).  One cannot separate the underarm from other parts of the body.  (E.g. The breast drains into the underarms.) We all need to aware of the blockage which antiperspirants are so effective in creating and the trapped residual alum salts backing up into the surrounding tissue including the breasts.

It is amazing that people still use antiperspirants and that relatively little research has been done to examine the connection between antiperspirants and breast cancer

Studies on the long term use of antiperspirants should be available for public review, but they are nowhere to be found.

One Herbalix Customer’s Results After an 80-Night Detox

September 14th, 2014

Topical detoxing or skin purging is a novel approach to cleansing one’s body.  As we age our bodies become sluggish which you may notice as a decline in energy, changes in body functions, excess inflammation and apparent changes in body shape.  It may take as long to detox as it does for us to accumulate and build up toxicity, and each circumstance is unique. It is safe to assume that for every year of toxicity you could be looking at one month of commitment.  So if you have ten years of accumulation, then the average is generally 10 months to reach a desired goal. Medications, alcohol consumption, smoking, ingesting nicotine gum, diet, the amount of aluminum (alums) in your body from topical products like antiperspirants used under the arms, air, food, water, even environmental factors and stress, etc. — all add to how long it will take to detox.  Using any of the Herbalix organic detox products, Nighttime Cleansing Detox Deodorant™ or the Herbalix Women’s 80-Night Lymph Detox Kit will help create internal balance by ridding the body of accumulated toxins.

Sweat glands can become blocked.

If you have been using a commercial deodorant or antiperspirant, check the label to see if it contains any type of aluminum, alum, petroleum or propylene glycol, any or all of which can lead to the buildup of chemicals under your arms, resulting in irritation, hygiene problems, or worse. Blocking the sweat ducts results in backing up the lymphatic system, trapping the toxins and impacting cell function. The cell trash, impurities, toxins and bacteria affect the pH of the body, but also render the cells ineffective in performing basic and essential functions such as cell signaling. The ion channels are  ultimately out of balance, either with too much sodium or potassium. Alum is a salt which has no human benefit even though it is found in the earth’s crust. It is toxic to the human body and wreaks havoc with our body’s ability to manufacture and utilize calcium. The result is that we are calcium deficient; our lymph is clogged up with calcification and resulting cysts, etc.

The Herbalix Nighttime Cleansing Detox Deodorant uses kelp which is a higher form of salt than aluminum or alum. Kelp helps the body adjust to its natural pH and in turn allows the body to restore normal calcium levels naturally.

Herbalix skin purging detox products cleanse away buildup to release waste fluids, supports healthy lymphatic flow, and absorbs all types of aluminum, encouraging a reduction in daytime odors.

This customer’s testimonials shows that parts of the body are beginning to respond, which means the detox cream is working on the body systemically. She can still target specific areas topically if she wants to work on those, but her progress is excellent. The fact that she did not drop too many pounds at this stage is not the important part, as that will definitely come in time, but the loss of inches is amazing. Her body is now ridding itself of inflammation, much of it found in visceral fat. The body is smart in that it selects the places to begin the process of cleansing. With continued detoxing, a gradual, safe and sustainable change will take place as her body returns to a comfortable, healthy, appropriate size.

Do Your Lymph Glands Need to be Drained?

August 15th, 2014

Our human lymph glands basically exist in order to collect waste from our blood. The lymphatic system circulates what is called interstitial fluid or lymph to your cells and body tissues. Everyone has between 500 to 600 lymph nodes, which play an important part in the functioning of a normal immune system. Lymph nodes are the little bean-shaped organs of the lymphatic system. These glands can be independent such as those located in the neck and collarbone or they can appear in groups under the arms in the armpit or in the groin area.

Lymphimages Do Your Lymph Glands Need to be Drained? Located in the underarm area, the axillary lymph nodes act as a filter for bacteria, viruses and other disease-causing microorganisms. Divided into two types, superficial and deep lymph nodes, the lymph glands are essential organs to the human immune system.

A part of the lymphatic system, lymph nodes are key to the body’s immune defense. Lymphatic fluids supply unfiltered body fluids to the lymph node for filtration. The fluids are collected by the efferent vessels and emptied to the cardiovascular system. If you have swollen lymph glands, it is a sign that the node is fighting a viral or bacterial infection, or worse yet, cancer. The swelling from swollen lymph nodes or glands can sometimes be alleviated by massaging the lymph nodes to physically help the lymphatic system rid the body of the toxins. People often increase exercise or soak in an Epsom salt and baking soda detox bath. Others increase exercise to sweat. The goal of massage therapy is to speed up the detox process.

People who study the non-aluminum deodorant market have long suspected that alums clog the lymph nodes, and could be linked to cancer. The lymph nodes are also a site for initiation of autoimmune system responses. The size of lymph nodes is very important to determine various medical conditions. Lymph nodes can become inflamed, swollen and painful under certain conditions.

Detoxing Lymph Glands

There are a number of specialists interested in new products coming into the marketplace that can reverse damage done from using underarm antiperspirant products containing these toxins. One such company called Herbalix Restoratives (www.herbalix.com) makes the Herbalix Nighttime Cleansing Detox Deodorant. The company does not use any type of synthetic preservative system in any of their products. The Nighttime Cleansing Detox Deodorant is 100 percent paraben-free, and it has no metals – meaning it is a non-aluminum deodorant – and also has no propylene, phthalates, emulsifiers, dyes, fillers, or other synthetic ingredients.

In order to abate any issues with clogged lymph glands, a number of medical professionals, and people are switching from an aluminum-based antiperspirant to natural and organic skin care products. Some have experienced a detox or lymphatic reaction including everything from rashes to bad odor to itching and red bumps. Others experience swollen lymph nodes when they stop using anti-perspirants and begin to use a natural deodorant. But not to worry, your body is finally getting rid of the pore-clogging, lymph node disrupting action of the aluminum salts caused by antiperspirants.

There is also evidence that a lymph drainage massage can also help to aid nasal and sinus congestion, and even allergies. There are people who use products that aid in detoxing aluminum from the underarms and lymph glands. They may have experienced increased body odor, or even an itching response. Swollen lymph nodes are not a problem in themselves but rather a sign that the body is working to get rid of all those toxic ingredients – including aluminum – that you were using under your armpits every day.

Can Coriander (Cilantro) chelate metals?

July 31st, 2014

This herb is used in many food dishes and found in the Mediterranean Diet.

This herb is used in many food dishes and found in the Mediterranean Diet. A number of vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, B5, B6 (Folate), Vitamin C., E & K are found in coriander including traces of minerals such as magnesium, potassium, iron, calcium, zinc.

HRCoriander Can Coriander (Cilantro) chelate metals?

Coriander.

contains antioxidants and has amazing antibacterial activity against germ negative and germ positive bacteria by breaking down cell membranes. Besides its antibacterial effect, the use of coriander oil in antibacterial formulations effectively kills pathogenic bacteria related to food borne diseases and hospital infections. It contains biosorbents effect to absorb liquids and solids: According to a study Coriander (Coriandrum sativum L.) essential oil: “Its antibacterial activity and mode of action evaluated by flow cytometry”. Filomena Silva, Susan Ferreira, Joao A. Queiroz and Fernanda C. Domingues – Journal of Medical Microbiology (2011), 60, 1479-1486 DO1 1Q10.1099/jmm 0.034157-0 034157 @2011 SGM.

While researching information on coriander, sometimes seemingly unrelated subjects can provide new leads such as The Uptake of Fluoride, Aluminum and Molybdenum By Some Vegetables From Irrigation Water by Arjun L. Khandare., G. Shanker Rao – National Institute of Nutrition (ICMR), J.Hum.Ecol., 19(4):283-288(2006). One of the vegetables used in the study for aluminum salt loading, was coriander. In a graph comparing amaranth and coriander from aluminum in irrigation water, the concentration of aluminum in coriander was 4 times greater compared to the control. The bottom line is that coriander absorbs metal ions from aluminum in water.

In 2005 Herbalix Restoratives sponsored a clinical study. The purpose of the study was to see how coriander works in HR topical Nighttime Cleansing Detox Deodorant®. We arranged for two labs to take tape samples of NCDD and a leading antiperspirant for comparison. The first lab used CuDerm Strippings consisting of 3 each of the NCDD, 3 of the antiperspirant and 2 blank strippings. The CuDerm Strippings were then transferred to a black paper and sent off to a second laboratory to be tested for ICP-MS Spectrometer analysis.

After testing the strips the second lab emailed back to the first lab to inform them that because they had applied the strips on a piece of black paper, the test results showed an abnormal reading of elevated alum from the NCDD over the antiperspirant. How could a deodorant contain this much aluminum? The answer is that all NCDD samples showed the ability to draw the black ink (made from aluminum) from the paper thus became a discovery showing the ability of NCDD to chelate aluminum from an inorganic source.

Below are the numbers that established the breakthrough.

1. Antiperspirants 1. 1,800
2. Negative Control 2. 7,000
3. Antiperspirants 3. 1,550
4. Antiperspirants 4. 1,370
5. Detox Deodorant 5. 115,000
6. Detox Deodorant 6. 120,000
7. Negative Control 7. 34,100
8. Detox Deodorant 8. 112,000

That works out to 70 times more aluminum that the NCDD extracted from the black paper.

Back in 2004 while learning from sources how third world countries used certain seeds to filter water, the idea of adding coriander seed to a deodorant, at that time a novel idea, brought forth an amazing discovery.

In 2006 HR sponsored a clinical trial evaluating subjects for levels of aluminum in the underarm, using the CuDerm tape strips. the first week was used as a baseline without applying any antiperspirant, the second week using antiperspirants and the third week, with the NCDD.

Baseline results gave variations of aluminum levels but all individuals showed asymmetrical loading in the non dominant arm (left and right). The second week using antiperspirants showed spiking in one arm vs the other. The third week, with the NCDD, showed reduction of aluminum in the underarms. Subjects returned to symmetrical levels (minimized the effects of antiperspirants) resulting in below baseline levels of aluminum indicating that NCDD was effectively absorbing aluminum.

Special Note: Baseline readings of aluminum variations in the samples demonstrate the human burden caused by aluminum (coming from air, water, food, antiperspirants, medication). Additional testing for metal loading can include skin as indicated in these studies.

In a follow up clinical trial in 2012, also using human subjects, it was clearly apparent in thermography scans that the NCDD and Sentinel Breast Crème® demonstrated symmetrical release of alum salts present in subjects tested. The asymmetrical loading of alum salts from antiperspirants can lead to health issues especially for women whose breast fluids drain thru the underarms.

These tests provide evidence of the ability for a topical detox with coriander to purge metals from the body.

The Impact of Ridding the Body of Aluminum via Herbalix Nighttime Cleansing Detox Crème

April 21st, 2014

Did you know that your bloodstream can absorb whatever toxic chemicals you put on your body? If you were to even try to count toxic ingredients in cosmetic and personal care products, it would be overwhelming to find that about one in eight of the 82,000 ingredients used in personal care and cosmetic products have been listed as hazardous. This includes Aluminum, reproductive toxins, endocrine disruptors, carcinogens, and pesticides. Why do people continue to use these products given that they cause such a high risk to our health?

Aluminum The Impact of Ridding the Body of Aluminum via Herbalix Nighttime Cleansing Detox Crème

Aluminum.

Aluminum has cancer-causing properties. New research says that Aluminum has cancer-causing properties, even though it is still considered by the so-called health authorities as perfectly acceptable to eat, apply under the arms as an antiperspirant and to inject into the body of a child as a vaccine adjuvant.

However, according to a recent study published in the Journal of Inorganic Biochemistry there were increased levels of aluminum in non-invasively collected nipple aspirate fluids from 19 breast cancer patients who were tested against 16 healthy control subjects. New research says that Aluminum has cancer-causing properties, even though it is still considered by the so-called health authorities as perfectly acceptable to eat, apply under the arms as an antiperspirant and to inject into the body of a child as a vaccine adjuvant. According to a recent study published in the Journal of Inorganic Biochemistry there were increased levels of aluminum in non-invasively collected nipple aspirate fluids from 19 breast cancer patients who were tested against 16 healthy control subjects.

Herbalix Restoratives (http://www.herbalix.com) has discovered a new insight into the knowledge of breast behavior stemming from the company’s clinical trial (WIRB #IRB00000533) entitled, “Impact of Nighttime Cleansing Detox Deodorant® in Conjunction with Sentinel Breast Crème™ on Obstruent Salt Fluids in Breasts” which was conducted in the United States in 2013. The purpose of this trial was to monitor lymphatic flow patterns in breasts of women with fibrous cystic conditions. and to provide validation in how the Herbalix line of skin chelation detox products cleanse and unclog any lymphatic pathways. The purpose was also to observe emunctory waste, circulation, and lymph flow.

Results were from sequential thermal imaging that recorded, identified and evaluated pattern changes in each breast during the course of the clinical trial. When reviewing thermography images during the study researchers observed what appear to be influences extending from external or seemingly unrelated factors which up to this time had not been linked or associated with breast congestion.

Contributors such as antiperspirants mixed metal earrings, metals in dental work, , crystal style deodorants, and even body piercing, may disrupt and congest the breast’s ability to effectively and efficiently transfer cellular waste thru the underarm or skin in the form of sweat.

The Herbalix Nighttime Detox Cream can be used all over the body. It’s excellent for breast, neck, stomach, groin, as well as the bottom of the feet as a topical detox. HerbalixNighttimeDetoxCreme The Impact of Ridding the Body of Aluminum via Herbalix Nighttime Cleansing Detox Crème

Additional features and benefits of the non-aluminum deodorant are as follows:
• Clinically tested
• Made with safe, botanical, chelating herbs
• Safe, effective, convenient
• Weekly maintenance program for cleansing and wellness
• Resolves asymmetric drainage in underarms

How does it work? You will apply the product for 30 nights initially– as most people have lifetime of toxic accumulation built up in their bodies, and it takes time to detox it all. Apply at bedtime. The monthly maintenance program will help counterbalance the alum as it enters the body in the future from multiple sources.

Don’t be surprised if you smell while detoxing. Some users will experience a temporary sensory reaction caused by what is exiting the body but for many sweating simply reveals an odor while the body is cleansing. After the initial 30-night cleanse, odors can be controlled with periodic application of the detox deodorant and use of a non suppressive day time deodorant.

Daily Detox Make Easy: Herbalix Nighttime Cleansing Detox Deodorant

January 28th, 2014

The dangers of aluminum in our bodies is becoming mainstream. The problem is that people still do not realize how much aluminum is actually present in their everyday lives — from food to prescriptions to personal care products, aluminum, alum or some form of this mineral compound, are in just about everything we touch, breath and eat. Today, many people are trying to follow an Aluminum-Abstinence Therapy (AAT).

If you are really interested in learning about the damage that Aluminum could do to your body, check out our white paper entitled, “The era of Aluminum Overuse.”

Below we list just a few sources that might contain toxic amounts of aluminum.

Any food with aluminized baking powder, which is a mixture of chemicals used as leavening in baking products to make a cake (for example) rise during the baking process. It is typically used in foods like cookies, doughnuts, pie crusts, waffles, as well as prepared cheeses, and meats. READ THE LABELS! Also, watch out for aluminum in creamers for coffee, microwave popcorn, hot cocoa mixes and pickles/relish. Just look for aluminum-free baked goods, and other products such as non-aluminum deodorants.

When it comes to personal care products, read the labels on the following products: Body lotions, face creams, anti-perspirants, crystal style deodorants (alum salts), commercial soaps, most cosmetics, shampoos/conditioners, lip balms, and almost all suntan lotions and sun screen or sunblock products.

Many over-the-counter medications and prescription drugs contain aluminum so again, read the labels and consult your doctor or pharmacist. You can ask your doctor for alternative, aluminum-free medications.

DetoxDeodorant Daily Detox Make Easy: Herbalix Nighttime Cleansing Detox Deodorant

Use every night for 30 days or longer to detox aluminum from your body.

If you find that most of the products in your home do have aluminum in them, begin a slow and steady detox program by using the aluminum-free Herbalix Nighttime Cleansing Detox Deodorant. Aluminum of any type, toxic air vapors caused by chem trails or gasoline and environmental toxins are absorbed through the skin and lungs. They enter the blood and are ultimately transported throughout the body, ending up in the lymph system and are stored in our cells as well. The Nighttime Cleansing Detox Deodorant cleanses and deodorizes while you sleep. It is safe, simple, convenient and works to cleanse your body thru the underarms. With frequent use, over time (usually a minimum of 30 nights) your odors and perspiration will become more manageable and less toxic. Here is what one happy customer had to say.

“Thank you so much for your nighttime Cleansing Detox Deodorant. It has been the only deodorant to help my chronic armpit odor problems. I greatly appreciate the quality product that you offer.” – Melinda S. Stone Lake, WI.

The Benefits of Detoxing Your Body Through the Skin

December 24th, 2013

When you begin any detoxification program, it means you are cleaning out the body — removing impurities from your tissues, blood, and organs such as the liver. Your body also eliminates toxins through its kidneys, lungs, lymph glands, intestines and even your skin.

The benefits of detoxing are many … it can help your body’s natural cleansing process by: stimulating your liver so that it will naturally eliminate any toxins; improve blood circulation; promote elimination through the intestines and kidneys; and provide essential nutrients and energy (fuel) to the entire body.

Herbalix Restoratives is a leading organic skin care company specializing in detoxification through the skin. The company works with doctors to develop special detox programs such as Dr. Mitra Ray’s Men’s 60 Night Lymph Detox program. There is also a detox program especially for women — the Women’s 80 Night Lymph Detox Program. It includes the exclusive Sentinel Breast Crème.

The detox kit includes Herbalix organic detox products such as:
Nighttime Cleansing Detox Deodorant – cleanses buildup and helps release waste fluids, encouraging lymphatic flow while absorbing all aluminums, and reducing odors.
Geranium Deodorant – Regulates and neutralizes rather than masks odors with a subtle fragrance of geranium essential oil.
Coriander Kelp Scrub Bar – with a blend of coriander seed and kelp to exfoliate dead skin cells and draw out impurities.
Belly Fat Freedom – helps remove toxins and promotes the loss of flab beginning in the belly area.

When you begin a detox program, there are several indicators that the toxins are transitioning out of your body, so do not be alarmed. These symptoms should not last more than a couple of weeks and keep in mind, these symptoms might fluctuate with deeper levels of detoxification.

Some symptoms as well as helpful suggestions include:

1) Drinking water is essential to the detox process.
2) Eat a simple diet of fresh foods including plenty of vegetables. Avoid caffeine and alcohol; be gentle to yourself and rest as often as you can.
3) Detox side effects might include tiredness, itching, skin eruptions, changes in feces, increased nighttime urination, noticeable body odor, and possible changes in your sleep pattern.
4) Many healthcare practitioners recommend warm water enemas. Dr. Mitra Ray and Dr. Jennifer Daniels who authored Do You Have the Guts to Be Beautiful (Shining Star Publishing, 2011) suggest beginning enemas about a week prior to the Herbalix detox.
5) Be sure to keep a diary and track your body weight and measurements from start to finish of the detox process 30 days later.
6) Be sure to wear old pajamas or a tee shirt as sometimes clothing can be stained. The staining may be a direct result from what is actually coming out of your body. Do not over apply the creams.
7) Avoid wearing metal jewelry, such as earrings, when using these detoxification products – especially not at night.
8) Always remember to use soap to wash off any residue in the morning and use the daytime deodorant provided in the kit instead of commercial deodorants.

If any of the above symptoms are uncomfortable enough to make you want to stop, then simply either apply less of the topical creams or take some time off for rest in order to slow down the build up of detox symptoms. Doing so will help your body get into a manageable detox rhythm more easily.

You can repeat this detoxification program two times per year for ongoing detox from food xenobiotics, aluminum and other metals, as well as environmental toxins.

Google’s Calico Aimed to be Data Source for Anti-Aging

December 13th, 2013

Google has started Calico as a data source for anti-aging and other diseases according to the media as described here by CNN. It appears as if Calico will take a ‘big-data’ approach to speed up health care discoveries on cryonics, cloning and nanotechnology — anything that can help extend human life.

The big question is who validates their findings? Harvard is attempting the same thing, so it makes for an interesting conversation.

For the New Year of 2014 Herbalix intends to continue with its mission of educating people about the success of its topical non-aluminum detox products including the Nighttime Cleansing Detox Deodorant as a new scientific way towards better health. The products continue to receive testimonials from customers who rave about the results. Just a few are below:

For anyone who has been using commercial antiperspirants, it is probably a good idea to read the label and see if it contains any type of aluminum, alum, petroleum or propylene glycol. All of these ingredients can lead to the buildup of chemicals under your arms. And if you want to read more about why aluminum in body care products is so bad, then click the link.

Herbalix Detox Deodorant helps to cleanses away alum buildup then release waste fluids. It supports a healthy lymphatic flow, absorbing all types of aluminum, and encourages a reduction in any odors.
